The couple had moved to Corinthian when the Emperor Claudius expelled all Jews from Rome. Paul stayed with this couple, who apparently became Christians before meeting the apostle. When Paul left Corinth after a ministry of some two to three years, Priscilla and Aquila went with him to Ephesus.
